RDE633 Impact of water quality on natural capital benefits derived by coastal
Who
| Buyer | Environment Agency — not a council we hold |
| Supplier | Eunomia Research & Consulting Ltd. |
What
The focus of the present work is on benefits derived directly or indirectly from freshwater, estuarine and coastal environments. We aim to work with others wherever possible to couple information on the state of natural assets and ecosystem services (including data from EA monitoring but also non-EA data where appropriate) with socio-economic data (again, where appropriate and available). This will enable us to update or develop new metrics to describe natural capital benefits and provide support to those who wish to use them. It will also allow us to highlight where we have insufficient data or methods and therefore evidence gaps.
