The installation service must cover all aspects including the order of the digital boxes, booking appointments to deliver and complete the installation, testing and disposal of waste equipment. The provider is responsible for the service delivery of the programme and supply of associated goods. An initial block contract of 2858 units is agreed and the Council will purchase additional units as required and identified through the programme circa 1000 units. The estimated dates for the completion of this programme of work is from 02nd October 2024 to 30th September 2025. The contract includes a 3-month extension term which can be agreed with the successful bidder, this is subject to any unforeseen events that may occur and impact upon the programme. The extension to the timeline will be at the sole discretion of the Council making the final possibly expiry 31/12/2025. The maximum budget available for the provision of this programme £1,300,000.
