Everything below was read out of a PDF by a model It is useful and it is not authoritative. The document it came from is linked in the rail, and where the two disagree the document is right.

The report sought approval to procure two arboricultural services contracts to maintain council-owned trees, manage tree diseases and meet statutory duties. The proposed contracts would run for three years, with an option to extend them by up to two further years, and would replace the contract with Connick Tree Services Limited expiring in June 2022.

Recommendation
Approve procurement of two separate arboricultural services lots for a three-year term, with an option to extend for up to two years, and delegate authority to the Executive Director - Economy Environment & Culture to conduct the procurement, award and let the contracts, and approve extensions.
Financial impact
The procurement is estimated at up to £3,000,000 over five years. The current year's budget for Arboricultural Services Contracts is £0.888m, comprising £0.148m permanent budget, £0.600m one-off funding and £0.140m brought forward from 2020/21.
