Everything below was read out of a PDF by a model It is useful and it is not authoritative. The document it came from is linked in the rail, and where the two disagree the document is right.

The report sought approval to extend the existing Supported Accommodation for Young People hybrid framework for two years and reopen it to new applicants. The extension would give Brighton & Hove City Council time to assess planned Ofsted oversight and the possible creation of Regional Care Cooperatives.

Recommendation
Extend the Supported Accommodation for Young People hybrid framework from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2025, reopen it to operators, and delegate authority to the Executive Director of Families, Children & Learning to take the necessary steps and procure and award call-off contracts and individual placement agreements.
Financial impact
The hybrid framework has no value in itself and there are no direct financial implications from the recommendations. The current available budget for placements for young people aged 16 to 24 is £3.708m.
